Born in Marseille and a 2008 graduate of the University of Liège with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, I then crossed the Atlantic to continue my career in North America. I gained a diverse range of experience, first in specialty surgery in Vancouver, then in general practice while completing an internship (IPSAV) at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Saint-Hyacinthe, before continuing at Michigan State University in Dr. Loïc Déjardin’s laboratory, where I conducted orthopedic research.

After completing my surgical residency from 2012 to 2015 and becoming board-certified by the ACVS in 2017, I practiced as a board-certified veterinary surgeon in the Montréal area.

In 2023, I embarked on an entrepreneurial journey by launching Coupez, a mobile veterinary specialty surgery company, followed by the launch of Clinique vétérinaire de l’Île-des-Sœurs and Velvet Santé Animale.

When I’m not in the operating room, I’m Mathilda’s dad and the proud roommate of three cats and two dogs. I’m also passionate about sports, especially football, the real football, the one played with your feet 😉, and tennis. I also love cooking and scuba diving.
